A mountain refuge shaped by weather, wood and time.

Hochgrat sits above a quiet valley in western Austria, where old forest paths rise into limestone ridges and the evenings arrive slowly.

We restored the house with local spruce, stone and wool. Nothing unnecessary. Just warm rooms, honest food and the mountains outside every window.
